Good experience


I think this was a good experience because we write about things we like, experiences and our favorite things. Besides, it’s amazing to write them in English because we can feel this language is closer to us, since we’re writing about ourselves. For these reasons, I don’t believe this blog activity should disappear in the future.

In terms of my writing skills, I feel they have improved. Writing this blog was a weekly activity, so you had to do it constantly; that’s why you got familiar with some expressions, connectors and words. Of course, knowing more words and repeat them gave us the chance to write better.

If I could include something into this project, I’d include something related to creativity. I know that English is very important, but as journalists, we must learn how to attract people by designing a good layer to read stuff that not everybody’s going to be willing to read. That’s why creativity and design should be evaluated too.

On the other hand, I think the topics we had to write about were good ones, but I’d like to include more topics related to life events, for example, when we wrote about the story behind the picture. In my view, it was very cool.

Finally, blogs are an excellent way to get to know other people. It was a great experience to feel like a blogger at least for this course.

Johnny "flirty" Bravo

Johnny Bravo is a Cartoon Network television series that started in 1998 and ended the year 2004. He received positive reviews in general and it is considered a Cartoon Network series icon. And my favorite fiction character is, obviously, Johnny Bravo. Johnny is a flirty man who is always rejected. Usually his flirting with women ends up with them hitting him, leaving him lying on the floor. In some episodes, he is even electrocuted with an electric prod or sprayed with pepper spray, typical weapons to defend against assailants. Johnny, despite his musculature, is not violent or confrontational. He usually uses all his energy trying to conquer girls. He is known for showing his muscles and doing martial arts movements, often while trying to impress women. Disney Boy

When I was a child I did not see a lot of television, I really do not remember the reason, but in my memory as a child I'm getting up, taking a bath, having lunch listening to the radio and walking to my school. In the afternoon I returned and I saw sometimes was the scant section of cartoons of Chilevisión. I remember seeing Shin-Shan and the Cosmic Cat, nothing more I grew up watching TV series, that's the truth hahaha. Los Pincheiras and Papy Ricky were relevant content for me. However, I must admit that when Movistar arrived with Tv Cable to my life I became a fan of the Disney series. Hanna Montana, Zac and Cody and The Wizards of Weberly Place were my favorite series, of that I remember. I would arrive and lie down in the armchair for an hour to see my series, then most likely I would fall asleep in school uniform. Me

Hi, my name is Samuel Rojas-Terán, yes, with a hyphen inbetween. It is a long story because I still have my name in ucursos and my ID without hyphen. Maybe, one day if we talk about life, I will tell you, but not now. I was born on June 30th in Santiago. I love and hate this city, it is a strange emotion. However, this city has no comparison when we talk about conectivity and places to think beyond. In my family, there is an English teacher and that's funny because I'm in English 3 course, quack. That teacher is my brother Absalon, yes a biblical's name, my family and myself are Christian. But that does not mean anything more than what you read. We don't bite, on the contrary, we're very loving and kind. I almost forgot to mention that I love playing basketball, and playing instruments: guitar, bass (I just know the basics), drums, and piano. The only thing I'd like to have is the singing ability.
